ABOUT THE ARTIST

“I am drawn to the potential of materials that have been discarded — finding in them a richness that only comes from having been used.”

COMMISSIONED WORK

Strong at The Broken Places

Each commission begins with a conversation. Ruth works with collectors, interior designers, and institutions to create handwoven works using reclaimed materials chosen specifically for the space and its story.

  1. Consultation — Discuss your vision, space, and the story you want the piece to tell.
  2. Material sourcing — Ruth identifies reclaimed materials that carry the right history.
  3. Creation — Handwoven over 4–12 weeks depending on scale and complexity.
  4. Delivery — Professionally mounted and delivered with full provenance documentation.
